Post-Operation Instructions for Immediate Denture Patients

• Leave denture in for a full 24 hours.
• Take denture out for no more than 5 minutes, after the first 24 hours, and rinse with saline (salt water) or Peridex (perscription) for thirty seconds.
• Replace denture and leave in for another 24 hours.
• Remove denture twice the second day, after 48 hours, and rinse each time as directed above.
• After the third day, we recommend denture care be followed up closely with your dentist. Routine denture wearing with nightly soaking of the denture is recommended.
• Follow-up as directed.
