Dr. Matt Johnson

Dr. Matt Johnson earned his dental degree at the University of Louisville, his Doctor of Medicine, or MD, degree at the University of Miami where he gained additional training in surgery and also completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. After dental school, he served in the U.S. Army Dental Corp, earning a Bronze Star. Dr. Matt Johnson is double Board Certified with the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Matt Johnson opened Johnson Oral Surgery in Mooresville, North Carolina in 1999.

The front office at Johnson Oral Surgery will greet you with a smile and do everything to assure that your appointment is pleasant and efficient. They will assist you with insurance, scheduling appointments and any financial concerns that you may have.

Oral Surgery Assistants: Jana, Kelly M., Kelly S., and Sarah

Johnson Oral Surgery has four assistants that are x-ray certified. They have trained specifically for Oral & Maxillofacial procedures. Continuing education and cross-training are very important in our assistant program.

Physician Liaison: Melissa

The practice liaison builds relationships by communicating and educating physicians and their staff about new procedures, technology, and treatment philosophies unique to our practice while emphasizing Dr. Matt Johnson's qualifications, experience, and professionalism.
