Post-Op Instructions

Post-Operation Instructions for Immediate Denture Patients

Leave denture in for a full 24 hours.
Take denture out for no more than 5 minutes, after the first 24 hours, and rinse with saline (salt water) or Peridex (perscription) for thirty seconds.
Replace denture and leave in for another 24 hours.
Remove twice the second day, after 48 hours, and rinse each time as directed above.
After the third day, we recommend denture care be followed up closely with your dentist. Routine denture wearing with nightly soaking of the denture is recommended.
Follow-up as directed.
